Fees and financial support

We do not charge any intrinsic conference fee!

The bus shuttle, coffee breaks, conference room are paid for by COST MecaNano or provided by IMDEA.

Unless otherwise stated, the participants are expected to cover their own travel costs and pay for their own meals. Because the meeting is held on a campus with no food outlet, the local organization committee will organize cattering and all participants are required to buy their lunch tickets during the registration process on this website (total cost: 46 € + VAT). Please understand that COST rules do not allow us to subsidize full meals.

A conference dinner will be organized on Wednesday 26th at La Mucca del Prado. The participation to the dinner is encouraged but is not mandatory. The cost of the dinner is 45 € + VAT and should be paid in advance (information provided when registrering).

Financial support

MecaNano will strive to refund travel costs of as many speakers as possible within budget limits, according to COST rules and based on the scientific quality of the submitted abstracts. The decisions will be announced during the week after the closure of the abstract submission (March 10, 2023). Please submit your abstract on time.
